ANNUAL BIRTHDAY BASH FOR A CURE
As one of our most popular events, Joshua's Wish Annual Birthday Bash for a Cure is part of our three major fundraising events with the main goal of raising more funding for childhood cancer research. Taking place on or around Joshua's Birthday (Feb 6), our Birthday Bash for a Cure is a celebration of Joshua's life along with many other childhood cancer warriors and survivors. Their lives are what inspires Joshua's Wish in all the things we do. Hundreds of people in their best dressed gather for one night of fun, dancing, and fundraising for a Cure so that children suffering from cancer can have a better chance at living a normal, longer life. All our guests are served a delicious dinner. For our grand finale, we throw a fantastic silent auction with tons of priceless and extravagant items for the highest bidders. Some of our favorite auction items include music and sports memorabilia, exotic trips, and homemade cakes. We've had many special guests at our biggest party of the year: from news anchors Ben and Lorra Jones to Adrian Peterson (former Chicago Bears running back). AJ the DJ provides fun and exciting entertainment for people of all ages. In 2020, we held our first ever virtual Birthday Bash for a Cure, with many of our supporters watching and donating online from the comfort of their homes. Every year we surpass our fundraising goals, raising thousands of dollars in one single night due to the support of all attendees. Look at the fun we have at some of our past Birthday Bashes.
